Protection and privacy
Built for minors, with protection by design.
Five layers of protection
- Local blocklist
- Moderation of what the student writes
- Topic check
- Rules in the request
- Moderation of the AI’s answer
Layer 1 is always on. The network layers (2 to 5) will be turned on at a school only after the privacy review with it; today they run only in the local demo.
Care, not punishment
A risk signal leads to care and an alert to the teacher. With the moderation on, when a primary or secondary school student's text is blocked on a sensitive topic, the student is shown the Disque 100 and CVV 188 helplines.
Privacy by design
No student id, login email or school goes to the AI provider. Requests to the AI and agent runs leave without email addresses, links, CPF numbers or phone numbers; names and other details written in them stay. The text, sources and map used to generate the idea map and the slides go as they are.
Measured, not promised
Calibrated and tested with more than a thousand synthetic cases. In testing, the manipulation attempts the AI went along with fell from 8 in 20 to 0 in 20.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Does Eidovia detect AI-written text?
No. Detectors get it wrong and accuse. Eidovia shows the process and lets the teacher judge with evidence.
What goes to the AI provider?
From the student: requests to the AI, the agents they build (with excerpts of the project's sources) and, to generate the idea map and the slides, their text, sources and map. Never the student's id, login email or school. Requests and agents leave without email addresses, links, CPF numbers or phone numbers; names stay. The text, sources and map go as they are. With the network layers on, the moderation also reads the student's texts, and the topic check the requests, cleaned the same way; the moderation also reads the AI's answers, uncleaned. Requests are made with storage turned off; the provider may keep them for up to 30 days to monitor abuse, or longer if the law requires. Retention and legal basis are set with each school before any use with real students.
Do we need to replace our LMS?
No. Eidovia is the reasoning and agents layer. LMS integration is on the roadmap.
What if a student writes something worrying?
Eidovia responds with care: it shows a supportive message and alerts the teacher. It does not replace the school or child-protection services.
